Ugh. I finished my short story and I'm pretty sure I hate it, but I have no energy to do another right now. I don't think I have enough space for all the backstory I need for my character...

I loved your short story. And I know you like description, but in a short story, less is definitely a whole lot more: get in fast, get out twice as fast. Leave us satisfied, but craving more of your writing. Or at least screaming, "Author! Author!"
